Launch of the website

After lots of tampering with Facebook albums, I decided it was for the best to start a website to document the FSX World Trip.

So here it is…

It took a few evenings to get this website ready and to migrate the screenshots and information to this place, but now I’ll have a decent way to manage and organize each leg of the FSX World Tour in an easy manner. To the flight sim community, I hope this can contribute as inspiration or entertainment. Maybe flight sim experts will laugh with some of my experiences or just enjoy the screenshots, or maybe flight sim “newbies” might learn a thing or two. Make sure to check the About page to get a little bit more inside information about my motivation.

What can you expect?

I’ll document each leg of the world tour on this website. Each leg contains the location of departure and destination, with ICAO codes, the flown distance (according to the flight plan, so it’s an estimation), a short or long description (depending on available time and willingness) and an album with captioned screenshots. Some legs are straight-forward without a lot of special information, but other legs contain more information, links to freeware scenery, handy add-ons or new experiences. Maybe you’ll even find a screenshot that you’ll like to use as wallpaper (the downloadable versions have a UHD/4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels).

Anyway, thanks for visiting this website and I hope you’ll find something you’ll like on this website.

Happy flying!
